In the infobox on right side of screen reverse the references of "Storage" and "Display".

Currently "Storage" shows links to display capabilities (480i, 480p, etc...), and vice versa for "Display" showing the Xbox storage capacities. Jonachan218 (talk) 14:40, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Online Services

[edit]

Under services, (Xbox (console)#Services ) it would be good to list the new replacement online servers for the original Xbox which has brought back online gameplay to the console, it is called Insignia.. https://insignia.live/ it does have its own Wikipedia page: Insignia (Xbox)

I was thinking of something alone the lines of: "While Xbox Live for the original Xbox was shut down in 2010, a number of games are now playable online using replacement online servers for the original Xbox called Insignia." RealGroovy24-NZ (talk) 07:23, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Modding section out of date. Is there an tag to flag for improvement?

[edit]

I was looking at the Modding section and some of the methods used are very out to date compared to what is used today.

I would like to put a "needs maintenance" banner on this section.

Anyone know how?

Thanks,

You are probably looking for {{update section}}. However, please make sure there are reliable sources that discuss the modding of the OG xbox. I'm sure there's plenty of forum-type posts that get into this detail but those aren't reliable. Masem (t) 16:30, 2 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
